Course Outline:

Module 1: Introduction to UX/UI Design

In this module, you will be introduced to the field of UX/UI design. You will learn about the different roles and responsibilities of UX/UI designers. You will also learn about the different stages of the design process.

Module 2: User Research

In this module, you will learn about different user research methods. You will also learn how to conduct user interviews and create user personas. Additionally, learn how to analyze research data and make appropriate style judgments to fulfil the clients’ needs and your business objectives.

Module 3: Element of Style

In this module, you will learn about different typography styles. You will also learn how to choose the right typeface for your design project. Additionally, you will be able to use typography to create a hierarchy of information and improve the usability of your design.

In addition, you will learn about different color theory concepts. You will also learn how to create a color palette for your design project. Additionally, you will be able to use color to create visual interest and improve the usability of your design.

Module 6: Interaction Design

In this module, you will learn about different interaction design principles. You will also learn how to create prototypes. Additionally, you will be able to use interaction design to improve the usability of your design.

Module 7: Visual Design

In this module, you will learn about different visual design principles. You will also learn how to create visual hierarchy in your designs. Additionally, you will be able to use visual design to improve the usability of your design.

Module 8: User Testing

In this module, you will learn about different user testing methods. You will also learn how to conduct user tests and interpret test results.

This course is for individuals with or without a basic understanding of design concepts. 

To succeed in completing this course, you need:

  • To attend 80% of the sessions.
  • Submit assignments on time
  • To have access to a computer/laptop with the following specifications: 8GB RAM, 256GB+ SSD, Core i5, 7th Generation, Graphics card, etc.
  • To have access to the internet for online sessions
  • Submit weekly projects for grading
